Thomas W. Liptan is a landscape architect whose green solutions to stormwater management have been recognized internationally. In his work with the Bureau of Environmental Services for the City of Portland (Oregon), he researched, designed, monitored, and maintained numerous such projects, helping shape city policy and code modifications. He has received numerous awards and was inducted into the American Association of Landscape Architects Council of Fellows in 2009.
