Jack Valenti served as a special assistant to President Lyndon Johnson and was in charge of all his speeches from 1963 to 1966. Valenti resigned his post to become president of the Motion Picture Association of America, a position he still holds. Recently profiled in The New Yorker, he is a sought-after public speaker and lecturer throughout the world and has written numerous articles for publications such as Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. He lives in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.
